Hironori Matsubara's works are published on the Architecture magazine "WORLD ARCHITECTURE 247(01/2011)" by Tsinghua University.

The project "DR Congo, ACADEX Elementary School" that Mr. Simon Pedero, Mis.Yoko Hasegawa, Hironori Matsubara and their laboratories have worked since 2008 won the prize "JIA Golden Cubes Awards" that JIA(the Japan Institute of Architects) supervise.It's the best prize for the architecture of school.

This prize is founded for evaluating and supporting the education of urban and architectural environment for the young people. And it invites the education activities from public and give the prize to the best projects. We've thought that our project is evaluated especially for the international exchange with Congolese and Japanese.

At UIA2011 TOKYO(The 24th World Congress of Architecture) which will be hold this year, our project also will be appeared and nominated as the project for the final review with recommendation. Now we are keeping up for this magnificent opportunity that we can show our project to the world.

Keio Unoversity SFC Matsubara laboratory's "DR Congo, ACADEX Elementary School project 2010" is featured in Japan Design Net, web magazine focusing on design and architecture.

Matsubara lab members went to DR Congo last summer, and has built the second classroom building of ACADEX Elementary School which is laboratory's ongoing project started from2008.

The project this year is quite different from last year, with the cultural exchange program and the improvement of the design based on the lessons from the last year's construction. Please take a look.

8th ISAIA -International Symposium on Architectural Interchanges in

This book has re-edited the past columns mainly from Nikkei Architecture about Toyo Ito’s career as an architect. Many newly written novels and interviews are written on this book.
